A bargain at $98,000?

Talk about a car that looks fast standing still.

This fine example of a 2002 Acura NSX-T recently closed at $98,000 on BringATrailer.  Which, dare I say, is a bit of a…….bargain?

I mean, a 2004 66,000 mile example sold for $125,000.

While a very low mileage (16k!) one went for an eye watering $210,000.

This one has 71,000 miles on the clock.  Is that worth a $27,000 discount?

To me, no.  I believe this car should have gone closer to the $125,000 mark.  For one, it’s a rare orange/orange combination with a manual transmission, and Targa (removable roof).  Total made: 41.  FORTY ONE!

This breakdown by color and transmission combinations really shows how few NSXs were sold in the final years of production. I think most people don't realize that there are true 1 of 1 cars out there.

It’s also presented beautifully.  The car itself looks great, but real compliments go to the seller for the clear, detailed photos.  With extra kudos for the photo collage showing the intact VIN numbers on 12 body panels.  They really highlight a car in great condition.  Plus, the seller was very communicative during the auction.  It even included a t-shirt!

This is a really nice touch worth mentioning. The collage of VIN tags shows that the body panels have not been replaced and the car's color combination is original.

So, I think this falls into the “well bought” category.  I can really see this going closer to the $125,000 price point, maybe even higher due to condition and seller.

But, what do YOU say?  Is the price accurate and the others are overpriced?  Or was this bought at a discount?
