Fiery Fiorano!

·

Cruising into the weekend we feature this Italian STUNNER that recently popped up on BringATrailer, a 2022 812 GTS!

This car ticks all the right boxes for an escape from the work week:  Ferrari.  Front-Engine naturally aspirated V12, and most importantly, the three letters of G, T, and S.

The red/tan color combination featured here is obviously classic Ferrari, but ticking the box for the Extra-Range (and Extra Cost!) Rosso Fiorano adds an elegance over the more common, dare I say boring, Rosso Corsa found on so many Ferraris.  Still extremely sporty and it suits the grand tourer perfectly.

Plenty of eye-wateringly expensive carbon fiber is found on the outside, including the side sills and rear diffuser.  I don’t want to know what it’s going to cost to replace those in about 10 years time, but hey, it’s great now!

Moving inside, more carbon is present, and found in the usual spots of steering wheel and central tunnel.  You almost wouldn’t think carbon could work with sumptuous tan leather, but it absolutely does here.   This is truly a great specification!

Even though it’s currently a Florida car, one notable option is the heated seats. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to stick some winter tires on it and enjoy some open top driving in Aspen!

Considering the original $523,075 MSRP and that it’s currently  sitting at $453,812 with nine days left, this one has a ways to go. 812 GTSs are listed in the $600k-$759k range, with a few outliers. My guess is this is headed towards the upper end. It’s in a superb spec and extremely well presented. This would make for one terrific weekend car.

TGIF!
