Rare wheels! Rare price!

Whoa! A set of Honda NSX-R wheels just hammered on BringATrailer for a whopping $13,750!

This appears to set a new high on BaT for these wheels, beating out a January 2025 auction price of $11,210.

I can’t really comment on if it’s a “good” price or not, but since NSX-Rs are selling north of $300k these days it seems perfectly inline.

My main is question is: “What do you DO with these?” Do you use them? Display them? Hide them away as an investment?

I suppose it’s like toy collectors who buy two of the same item: One to use and one to display.

If it were me, I’d leave them as is and use them as a display or investment. They’re in the original packages and as is often said, something is only new once.

If I owned an NSX-R I would hopefully already have a set of original wheels on the car, and if not, find a used set for driving on. These would be kept safe in the package as a fun and interesting display piece.
